XM1014 | Tranquility (Factory New)
The XM1014 | Tranquility (Factory New) is a Classified shotgun skin — a red finish carrying a hand-painted image of a long-haired woman. Factory New is the top grade, presenting that artwork at its richest before any wear sets in.
Design
The finish hand-paints the portrait of a woman with long flowing hair over a deep red base, a serene and artful look far removed from typical tactical camo. It's a community design by the artist SerQ, and it carries a fitting in-game line: "I'm not here for what I need; I'm here for something I want - Imogen and The Oni Part 2."
XM1014 | Tranquility (Factory New) Float and Wear
Floats span 0.00 to 0.50 on this finish, and Factory New claims the lowest slice of that band. At this grade the red base glows deep and even, and the painted figure holds every fine detail without a hint of scuffing. It's the grade to chase if you want the artwork exactly as the artist rendered it.
XM1014 | Tranquility Rarity
Rarity: Classified — the pink tier, second from the top of the standard weapon grades and a genuinely uncommon pull from any case.
XM1014 | Tranquility Case and Collection
This finish belongs to The Vanguard Collection and drops from the Operation Vanguard Weapon Case, released alongside Operation Vanguard in November 2014. The Classified tier unboxes about 3.2% of the time from that case (a rate shared across the tier's skins), and with the case long out of the active drop pool, most copies now change hands on the market.
XM1014 | Tranquility Patterns
There's no random pattern roll on this finish — the painted figure and red base appear the same way on every copy, so there's no paint seed or "blue gem" to hunt down. Wear and float are the only things that set one copy apart from another.
StatTrak & Souvenir
A StatTrak version exists next to the regular finish, adding a confirmed-kill counter that never gets wiped as the shotgun is traded or sold. There's no Souvenir edition — Souvenir weapons are minted only through Major-tournament packages, and this finish was never offered in one.
XM1014 | Tranquility Price
Factory New sits at the very top of this finish's price ladder as the cleanest grade going — and since the skin already ranks among the priciest XM1014 finishes, this is genuine high-end, grail-tier territory. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.
FAQ
Why is the Factory New so expensive?
Two things stack up. Tranquility is already one of the most sought-after XM1014 finishes, sitting in grail-tier territory, and Factory New is its highest and rarest grade. Add the fixed supply from a retired case, and the cleanest copies command a strong premium over every lower wear.
What gloves pair with Tranquility?
Its deep red base makes a red or crimson glove the obvious match, tying the loadout together around the shotgun's dominant color. If you'd rather contrast, dark gloves in black or charcoal let the red artwork stand out on its own without competing for attention.
Does the paint seed change the look?
No. Tranquility uses a fixed design, so the painted figure and red base sit identically on every copy no matter the seed. There's no rare pattern variant or blue-gem roll to seek out — buyers choose purely on wear grade and float value.
