CS2 is a fairly complex game if you play it professionally. If you look at it superficially, it seems that all you need to do to win is shoot well. However, this is not the case.

Success in CS2 rounds often depends on your ability to throw grenades correctly. With this well-developed skill, you can eliminate an opponent without even seeing them, delay their rapid attack on your capture point by throwing a smoke grenade into a narrow passage, and use this time to regroup your forces.

If you like to kill your opponent in a face-to-face duel, then it makes sense for you to learn how to use blinding grenades at the right time to increase your chances of success in a shootout.

Why Do You Need to Rethrow Last Grenade?

Rethrowing the last grenade in CS2 is a useful feature for training maps, where you practice different scenarios and learn to react quickly to your opponent's actions in the game. This feature is beneficial for both experienced and novice players.

The advantages of repeating the last grenade throw include:

  • Tactical flexibility, which involves repeating actions that block your opponent. For example, delaying your opponent by setting up a smoke screen.

  • Accuracy. You can repeat the trajectory of the last grenade without having to recalculate the throw angle.

  • Save time and increase productivity per unit of time. You don't need to manually select a grenade again.

Bind and Command How to Rethrow Last Grenade in CS2

To activate the function to rethrow the last grenade, you must first check if the developer console is activated. To do this, press the “~” key, which is the default key.

If the console does not open after pressing, follow these steps:

  • Launch CS2.

  • On the main page of the game, find the “Settings” (it looks like a gear icon in the top-left corner of the screen) and click on it.

  • You will see several tabs at the top. Look for the “Game” tab and click on it.

  • Look for the “Enable developer console” option and click on “Yes”.

Now you can open the console with the “~” key. If you want to set a different key, you can do so in the “Keyboard and Mouse” tab.

Enter the command: bind key sv_rethrow_last_grenade in the console.

You can assign any key you want, such as N. In this case, the command would be: bind N sv_rethrow_last_grenade. Now, when you press the N key during gameplay, you will rethrow the last grenade in CS2.

If you need to disable this feature, type sv_rethrow_last_grenade 0 in the console and press Enter.

We hope that with the help of our guide, you will improve your grenade throwing skills in training and achieve impressive victories in official matches.
