The Marble Fade gradient is composed of three distinct shades of red, blue and gold, with varying amounts of each color depending on the pattern seed. However, the most valuable Marble Fade Talon patterns are those that have pretty much no visible yellow or gold hues. These patterns are commonly known as “the Fire & Ice”. Also, it is float-capped, meaning that you can only get either a Minimal Wear or a Factory New quality version of this knife. For obvious reasons and to avoid scratches on the playside of the knife, the skin traders and collectors prefer the Factory New Marble Fade. The chipped paint damage is negligible on the Minimal Wear quality, but still noticeable if you inspect the knife.
