The Talon Knife | Marble Fade was added to Counter-Strike: Global Offensive on March 13, 2019 as part of the “Seeing the Light” update and is available in the Prisma Case. You can read more about the Prisma Case knives here. The Talon Knife is one of  the most desirable blades in Counter-Strike 2, having a couple of unique features and closely resembling its Karambit cousin. The signature ivory handle combined with unique pull-out and inspect animations, and a serrated blade with round holes inside create a menacing yet stylish look that is impossible to ignore. The unusual design is also complimented by a more affordable variety of finishes compared to significantly more expensive Butterflies and Karambits. While in general it is more accessible than its curved counterpart, the Marble Fade finish still costs a pretty penny. Considering how many patterns there are for this magnificent gradient finish, it is important to know which patterns are more valuable and rare.

The Marble Fade gradient is composed of three distinct shades of red, blue and gold, with varying amounts of each color depending on the pattern seed. However, the most valuable Marble Fade Talon patterns are those that have pretty much no visible yellow or gold hues. These patterns are commonly known as “the Fire & Ice”. Also, it is float-capped, meaning that you can only get either a Minimal Wear or a Factory New quality version of this knife. For obvious reasons and to avoid scratches on the playside of the knife, the skin traders and collectors prefer the Factory New Marble Fade. The chipped paint damage is negligible on the Minimal Wear quality, but still noticeable if you inspect the knife.

In this Skin.Land guide, we’ll provide you with all the best Talon Marble Fade FIre & Ice patterns and their visual differences. If you’re looking to buy or sell a Talon Knife | Marble Fade, then being knowledgeable about the most popular patterns is quite important. Also, if you’re looking for a reliable platform where you can buy, sell or trade skins and other in-game items, then look no further than Skin.Land.

Why Is It Called Fire and Ice?

The name comes from the combination of two colors where the gold is either missing or just barely visible. While the regular Marble Fade finishes are composed of three distinct colors, blending into each other, the Fire & Ice patterns only have blue and red shades.

We must warn you that the consensus on the Marble Fade Talon Knife Fire and Ice patterns is that there are NO true “Fire and Ice” Talons. Essentially, every Fire and Ice Talon will have a small yellow section on the tip of the blade. Therefore, they are called the “Fake Fire and Ice”. There are patterns that are mostly covered in red and blue with just a smidge of yellow though. Here’s the Talon Knife Marble Fade Fire and Ice tier list.

Talon Knife Marble Fade Pattern Tiers

Usually we would classify the tiers starting from the best Fire and Ice patterns. However, since there are no true Fire and Ice Talons, we will start from the next best tier – Fake Fire and Ice patterns.

The playside of the FFI blade is overwhelmingly covered in red and blue colors, with just a smidge of yellow showing on the tip. As expected, these patterns cost considerably more. With the overpay, you might see offers for the upper tiers upwards of $1,500. The lower tier patterns feature more visible yellow patches, while the 1st Max will only have a barely visible yellow tip of the blade.
