Overall, the majority of cases go for between $0.5 to $3.5 if we’re looking at the common variety of CS2 cases. If we’re looking at the more expensive cases, then the price spikes from $10 to almost a hundred USD.

CS:GO Weapon Case

Currently, the most expensive case in CS2 is the original “CS:GO Weapon Case”, going for $83 on Skin.Land. This case is the Holy Grail of the CS:GO era, as it is one of the oldest ones, it contains the original knives, it is extremely hard to obtain via drop, and it contains the one and only AK-47 Case Hardened. Considering that it takes to get at least a purple skin from the unboxing to get a good return on your investment, this case is likely to sustain or even go up in its cost in the near future. Some of the notable skins of this case include the AWP Lightning Strike and the Desert Eagle Hypnotic.

1. eSports 2013 Case

Price: $41-46

The eSports 2013 case is a mystery to many players, considering that the eSports Winter 2013 case go for as low as $8, and none of the eSports cases drop anymore. The ones that we have are pretty much all we have left. Surely, it contains a pretty rare AWP Boom skin, but the real reason of its pricing is the abundance of 65 various knife finishes that can be unboxed from the eSports 2013 case.

2. Operation Bravo Case

Price: $40-42

For a long time, the Bravo case was the second most expensive case in CS:GO. As of now, the odds of obtaining this case through a drop are pretty low, though not entirely out of the equation. The Operation Bravo Case has a plethora of rare knives, including the Crimson Web Flip Knife and the Case Hardened Bayonet, which explains the ridiculously high price for a case. One of the other reasons is obviously the presence of the extremely rare and iconic Fire Serpent AK-47. 

3. Operation Hydra Case

Price: $17-20

Along with the Wingman game mode, the Operation Hydra brought the Hydra Case with a plethora of different skins back in 2017. The Operation Hydra Case contains the possessed M4A4 Hellfire and Oni Taiji, one of the most gorgeous AWP skins out there. The case is pretty rare, but its main attraction isn’t as appealing, as the Fire Serpent, for example. Of course, the Oni Taiji is decently priced, but it doesn’t have the wow factor among skin collectors and traders.

4. Huntsman Weapon Case

Price: $8.5-11

The Huntsman Weapon Case is truly a remarkable one, having a plethora of futuristic skins, including the mecha-like AK-47 Vulcan and SCAR-20 Cyrex, as well as a desirable Huntsman knife array. What makes this case stand out from the rest in our list, is the fact that initially, the Huntsman Weapon Case contained the infamous M4A4 Howl. Once the incident related to copyright issues took place, Valve were forced to delete the Howl and a number of other skins from the case and instead add six new ones. 

5. eSports 2013 Winter Case

 Price: $8-9

A rare case that preserves value even in 2025, due to the dwindling supply. The eSports 2013 Winter Case contains a total of 65 possible knives, along with the AK-47 Blue Laminate. Even though it is similar with the Summer variant, the Winter case is not as beloved among the CS2 community, mostly due to a bland variety of weapon skins presented in this case.
