Nova | Yorkshire (Battle-Scarred)
The Nova | Yorkshire (Battle-Scarred, BS) is a Mil-Spec shotgun skin showing its high-gloss bronze and gold coat in the roughest condition available. It's the cheapest way into the metallic design, trading shine and polish for the lowest entry price.
Design
The finish plates the Nova in polished bronze and gold, a warm high-gloss look built to catch the light like plated metal. It's a Valve-made design, and it ships with a dry in-game line that plays against the glitz: "A history of violence."
Nova | Yorkshire (Battle-Scarred) Float and Wear
Battle-Scarred tops the finish's float scale, which runs the full range to 1.00. With no float cap, this grade reaches the heavy end of the wear scale: the gloss is largely gone and pronounced scuffing and paint loss spread across the body. The bronze-and-gold tone still identifies the finish, but this is unmistakably the most weathered copy on offer.
Nova | Yorkshire Rarity
Rarity: Mil-Spec Grade — the blue band, the most common tier of the standard weapon grades. Its place at the foot of the rarity ladder keeps this metallic Nova cheap and easy to come by.
Nova | Yorkshire Case and Collection
Belonging to The Sport & Field Collection, this finish debuted with The Armory update in October 2024. Mil-Spec is the collection's most common band, and since the collection wasn't packaged in a weapon case, copies arrive on the market through drops and trade-ups rather than unboxing.
Nova | Yorkshire Patterns
Since the bronze-and-gold coat is fixed, the paint seed changes nothing — every copy wears the same metallic finish, and there's no blue-gem or best-pattern seed to hunt for. Copies differ from one another only in wear grade and float value.
StatTrak & Souvenir
There's no StatTrak version of this finish, as StatTrak counters are produced only through weapon cases and this collection was never released in one. There's no Souvenir version to chase either, since those are drawn solely from Major-tournament packages and Yorkshire was never among them. It exists as a regular finish only.
Nova | Yorkshire Price
Battle-Scarred is the cheapest grade of the finish — the entry-level way to run the metallic Nova for players who care about the design more than the shine. As a Mil-Spec skin, that lands it comfortably at the affordable end of the market. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.
FAQ
Is the Battle-Scarred Yorkshire still recognizable?
Yes. The gloss is mostly gone and the surface takes heavy scuffing, but the warm bronze-and-gold tone keeps the finish readable at a glance in-game. Battle-Scarred is about accepting visible wear for the lowest price, not losing the design — the metallic coat still marks it clearly as a Yorkshire.
Does the Battle-Scarred Yorkshire reach full wear?
It can. Unlike finishes that are float-capped below 1.00, this one runs the full float range, so Battle-Scarred copies reach the heavy end of the scale with the gloss stripped and pronounced scuffing across the body. The bronze-and-gold base keeps it identifiable even at that state.
Is Battle-Scarred the cheapest Yorkshire?
Yes. It's the lowest grade on the ladder and the least expensive way to own the metallic design. Given the skin's Mil-Spec rarity, that already makes it one of the more affordable Nova finishes around — a fine pick if you like the bronze-and-gold look and don't mind the heavy weathering.
