Sawed-Off | Origami (Minimal Wear)
The Sawed-Off | Origami (Minimal Wear) is a Mil-Spec shotgun skin with an origami-inspired paint job in warm brown and yellow tones. Minimal Wear keeps the artwork looking almost untouched while sitting a notch below Factory New in price.
Design
Built on warm browns and yellows, this finish gives the Sawed-Off an origami-inspired, paper-craft aesthetic that's more artistic than most shotgun skins go for. The community artist Big Monkei designed it, and it ships with a fitting in-game line: "It takes time to build something beautiful, but only a moment to destroy it."
Sawed-Off | Origami (Minimal Wear) Float and Wear
Within the finish's 0.00–0.55 float range, Minimal Wear falls just above Factory New. Any wear here is faint — a touch of edge fading at most — and the folded-paper motif stays saturated and easy to read across the body. For most buyers it's nearly indistinguishable from the top grade at a glance.
Sawed-Off | Origami Rarity
Rarity: Mil-Spec Grade. That's the blue tier, the entry rung of the standard weapon grades and the most common rarity a case produces — which is why this finish is easy to find.
Sawed-Off | Origami Case and Collection
Part of The Chroma 2 Collection, Origami is unboxed from the Chroma 2 Case that arrived in the April 2015 update. Across that case the Mil-Spec tier drops about 79.92% of the time (the figure is shared among the tier's blue skins), so supply on the market stays plentiful.
Sawed-Off | Origami Patterns
There's no random pattern variation on this finish — the origami artwork is placed identically on every copy, so no paint seed or "blue gem" is worth chasing. The only differences between copies come down to wear and float.
StatTrak & Souvenir
There is a StatTrak edition, its kill counter minted through the Chroma 2 Case; it drops more rarely and costs more than the plain finish, and that counter is permanent — it never gets wiped through trades or sales. No Souvenir version was ever made, because Souvenir weapons are produced solely from Major-tournament packages and this finish never appeared in one.
Sawed-Off | Origami Price
Minimal Wear sits just under Factory New on the price ladder, giving you nearly the same look for a bit less — a smart value spot for an already affordable mid-tier finish. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.
FAQ
Is Minimal Wear or Factory New the better buy?
For most people, Minimal Wear. The wear at this grade is so light that the origami artwork looks nearly identical to Factory New, yet it costs less. Pay up for Factory New only if you specifically want the absolute top condition on the shelf.
Does the Minimal Wear Origami show any damage?
Barely. Expect at most a hint of fading along the sharpest edges, nothing that touches the brown-and-yellow paper motif across the main body. At normal viewing distance it reads as good as untouched, which is a big part of this grade's appeal.
Is Origami a rare skin?
Not especially. It sits at Mil-Spec, the most common rarity tier, and drops from the Chroma 2 Case at a high rate. That keeps it affordable and easy to find — its draw is the artistic origami design, not scarcity.
