USP-S | Monster Mashup (Factory New)
The USP-S | Monster Mashup (Factory New) is a Classified pistol skin — a custom paint job splashed with a green monster and urban-art icons, finished with a pearlescent silencer. Factory New is the top grade, showing the artwork at its most vivid before any wear touches it.
Design
Monster Mashup covers the frame in a graffiti-style mashup: a grinning green monster surrounded by icons pulled from popular urban art, all over a custom base, with a pearlescent sheen on the silencer that shifts in the light. It's a community design by the artist Nextgenz, and it ships with the in-game line "X__X".
USP-S | Monster Mashup (Factory New) Float and Wear
Float runs from 0.00 to 0.70 across the finish, and Factory New sits at the very bottom of that scale. At this grade the colors read at full saturation and every icon in the mashup stays sharp, with the pearlescent silencer catching the light exactly as intended. This is the artwork with zero scuffing — the grade to reach for if you want it flawless.
USP-S | Monster Mashup Rarity
Rarity: Classified — the pink tier, second from the top of the standard weapon grades, just below Covert. It's a genuinely uncommon grade to pull from a case.
USP-S | Monster Mashup Case and Collection
This finish belongs to The Operation Broken Fang Collection and drops from the Operation Broken Fang Case, released with Operation Broken Fang in December 2020. The Classified tier as a whole drops about 3.2% of the time from the case (shared across the tier's skins), and with the Operation Broken Fang Case out of the active drop pool, supply is fixed — most copies change hands on the market rather than from unboxing.
USP-S | Monster Mashup Patterns
The finish has no random pattern variation — the monster and the surrounding icons land the same way on every copy, so there's no paint seed or "blue gem" to hunt. Wear and float are the only things that separate one from another.
StatTrak & Souvenir
A StatTrak™ version exists and adds a confirmed-kill counter; it's a rarer, pricier drop than the standard skin, and the counter is permanent, carrying over when the item is traded or sold. There's no Souvenir edition — Souvenir weapons come only from Major-tournament packages, and this finish was never part of a Major drop.
USP-S | Monster Mashup Price
Factory New sits at the top of the price ladder as the cleanest grade available — a clear step above Minimal Wear, a premium USP-S pick that still stops short of grail money. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.
FAQ
Is Factory New worth the premium here?
If you want the mashup at maximum saturation, yes. Factory New keeps every green tone and urban icon crisp and the pearlescent silencer at its brightest, which matters on a busy, colorful design like this one. Minimal Wear looks close for less, so pay up only if flawless condition is the priority.
What does the Monster Mashup actually depict?
It's a graffiti-flavored collage: a cartoon green monster as the centerpiece, ringed by icons borrowed from popular urban art, all laid over a custom paint job. The silencer gets a separate pearlescent treatment that shifts subtly in the light, setting it apart from the painted frame.
Which gloves go with the Monster Mashup?
Its loud green-and-graffiti palette suits a playful, street-art loadout — green or multicolor gloves pick up the monster and the urban icons, while a clean white or gray pair lets the artwork carry the look. Lean into the color rather than muting it.
