Design

At its core Magma is a chemical patina: copper-plated parts masked in a magma shape and burned into a red patina with salt and heat, the exposed metal darkened by oxidization. The community artist Algis built it, and it carries a fitting quote in-game: "A burning rate of fire."

Is Well-Worn worth buying over Field-Tested?

Mainly if price is the priority. Field-Tested looks noticeably better for a modest step up in cost, so most buyers prefer it. Well-Worn makes sense when you want the fiery design as cheaply as possible without dropping all the way to the most battered grade.

Do worn Magma copies still show the patina?
