SCAR-20 | Storm (Factory New)
The SCAR-20 | Storm (Factory New) is a Consumer Grade rifle skin with individual parts spray-painted in a moody, storm-gray color scheme on the automatic sniper. Factory New is the cleanest grade it comes in, showing the paneled colors at their most solid and even.
Design
Storm has individual parts spray-painted solid colors in a stormy scheme, breaking the SCAR-20's frame into blocks of muted gray and dark tone rather than any print or decal. It's a Valve-made finish, and it carries the in-game line "It will be waiting for you at the monorail."
SCAR-20 | Storm (Factory New) Float and Wear
The finish runs a float range of about 0.06 to 0.80, so it never reaches a perfect zero float. At Factory New the paneled colors read clean and solid, with no scratching to break up the block work — the grade to reach for if you want the scheme looking its most even.
SCAR-20 | Storm Rarity
Rarity: Consumer Grade — the white tier at the base of the standard weapon grades. It's the most common class of skin, which keeps this stormy finish approachable in its regular form.
SCAR-20 | Storm Case and Collection
Storm belongs to The Cobblestone Collection, which arrived with Operation Breakout in July 2014. The collection's regular skins are drop-earned rather than pulled from a paid case, so most copies of the standard finish change hands on the open market.
SCAR-20 | Storm Patterns
The design is fixed — the paint-seed index does not change how it looks, so the paneled color scheme sits the same way on every copy. There's no "best pattern" or blue-gem seed to hunt; wear and float are all that separate one copy from another.
StatTrak & Souvenir
This finish exists as both a regular skin and a Souvenir version — the page here is the regular one. Souvenir copies were first handed out in the ESL One Cologne 2014 Cobblestone Souvenir Package and again through later Major-tournament packages. There is no StatTrak version, since StatTrak arrives only from a Case built to offer it, and this finish never had one.
SCAR-20 | Storm Price
Factory New is the top of this finish's own ladder, and the regular Storm as a whole sits in affordable, mid-of-the-range territory for the SCAR-20. Souvenir copies are a separate, scarcer market of their own. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.
FAQ
Is Factory New worth it on Storm?
If you want the paneled colors as solid as possible, yes — Factory New shows the storm-gray blocks with no scratching over them. The regular finish is affordable, so the step up from Field-Tested to Factory New is modest and mostly a matter of how even you want the scheme.
What gloves go with Storm?
Its muted gray, stormy palette suits a dark, low-key loadout, so gray, black, or slate-toned gloves match it best. A cool-gray hand-wrap echoes the paneled scheme, while black wraps keep the understated, overcast vibe the skin's colors already lean into.
What's the difference between regular and Souvenir Storm?
The artwork is the same; the tag differs. The regular Storm is drop-earned and trades as an ordinary finish, while Souvenir copies came from Major-tournament packages and carry commemorative stickers and origin, making them scarcer and typically pricier. This listing covers the regular version.
