M249 | Jungle (Field-Tested)
The M249 | Jungle (Field-Tested) is a Consumer Grade M249 finish in a solid green jungle color scheme with a moderate layer of wear. Field-Tested is the balanced middle grade, keeping the green look recognizable while trimming the cost.
Design
The gun is sprayed in solid greens from a jungle palette, applied part by part for a plain, tool-like tactical look rather than one continuous design. It's a Valve creation with no graphics, decals, or in-game quote — the block color carries the whole finish.
M249 | Jungle (Field-Tested) Float and Wear
Across a 0.06 to 0.80 float span, Field-Tested sits in the middle. Light scratching creeps in along the edges and the greens lose a little depth, but the color blocks stay clearly readable across the body. It's the grade most buyers reach for when they want the design without paying for a top-tier copy.
M249 | Jungle Rarity
Rarity: Consumer Grade — the white class, the lowest of the standard weapon grades. Common in theory, but genuinely uncommon for this specific finish.
M249 | Jungle Case and Collection
This finish is drawn from The St. Marc Collection, which arrived with Operation Shattered Web in November 2019, and it has no weapon case of its own. Rather than being unboxed, copies come as collection drops, so they reach players through the drop pool and the market instead of case openings.
M249 | Jungle Patterns
There's no random roll on this finish — the design is fixed, so the paint-seed number leaves the look untouched and every copy shows the same color blocks. No blue-gem seed exists to chase, and only wear and float separate one M249 from another.
StatTrak & Souvenir
You won't find a StatTrak version of this finish, because StatTrak is produced inside cases and this skin was never a case item. There's no Souvenir edition either — Souvenir weapons are handed out only in Major-tournament packages, and this finish never appeared in one, so only the regular finish exists.
M249 | Jungle Price
Field-Tested lands mid-ladder, below the cleaner grades but above the roughest, and the finish overall is a high-end, grail-tier M249 pick, so even a mid grade holds real value. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.
FAQ
How worn does the Field-Tested look?
Moderately. Expect light scratches along the edges and a slight dulling of the greens, but nothing that hides the color blocks — they read clearly across the body. It's a visible step down from the top grades and a clear step up from Well-Worn, sitting in the middle.
Is Field-Tested the best value for this finish?
For many buyers, yes. It costs less than the cleaner grades while keeping the solid green legible, which is the main draw of the skin. If you want a wearable copy of a scarce, grail-tier finish without paying top-grade money, Field-Tested is the sweet spot.
Does the Jungle come from a case?
No. It's part of The St. Marc Collection and drops without any weapon case, so copies come from the collection's drop pool rather than unboxing. That's also why there's no StatTrak version — StatTrak is minted inside cases, and this finish never had one.
